#175: Mudita Chauhan on hiring process improvements, internal recruitment marketing, and how crypto companies can leverage Employer Branding

Mudita Chauhan started off her career as an engineer but realized her key strength was bringing out the best in people. She then changed paths leading her to the HR space and she is currently the Head of Human Resources at CoinDCX.

Mudita is on the roll as she heads the people function and works on building the largest fintech in the country. Her key strengths are in building startups, HR transformation, data and analytics, operationalizing HR Technology, managing senior stakeholders, and driving employee engagement and productivity.

Mudita recounts that culture fit was an important step when she started working in CoinDCX. First, they gathered all the hiring agents and arrived at the right questions to ask during the hiring process. 

Next, she talks about the importance of the right hiring partners who can help hire the right people for the company. 

She says that delivering the right experience to the employee is essential and is the responsibility of recruiters and managers.

 She says that communication is a significant step that ensures transparency within the team. 

Sharing her views on internal job postings, she feels that it is a powerful tool for employee growth as it offers them a variety of roles.

Ways by which crypto industries can leverage employer branding 

Mudita says that employer branding is not easy. In her experience, people usually go for a stable organization with a clear vision of their future. She says that it is imperative to give new employees a  proper introduction about your company and your expectations from them. CoinDCX is different from other employers; as for them, branding is not just about a company but also about crypto.

Mudita concludes the interview by saying that the crypto industry is in its nascency and needs young talent and new ideas. Therefore, at CoinDCX, they usually look for people passionate about crypto.
