We hold cultural beliefs ingrained by oppressive systems and there are societal barriers to rest, such as capitalism's discouragement of slowing down and the limited understanding of rest beyond sleep. Reflection is also often neglected when we prioritize constant achievement. Rest is often seen as something earned or exclusive to vacations, and society's fast-paced nature hinders intentional breathing.
With all of this in mind, Steff aims to challenge societal norms and encourage listeners to incorporate rest, blank space, and reflection into their lives, supporting their mental, emotional, physical, and energetic health.
