This week Kevin and Stewart have the absolute honor of sitting down with Chris Cassidy, a recent retiree from the Navy following 28 years of service.
After graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy, Chris served for a decade with the U.S. Navy Seal Teams where he served in Afghanistan merely two weeks after the September 11 attacks. Chris then served for eighteen years with NASA where he participated in three space missions including 277 days in space, 10 EVAs, served as ISS Commander for Expedition 63 which included the historic docking of the Crew Dragon Demo-2.
The team talks through the journey of his life, including his present station as the President and CEO of the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation, located in Arlington, Texas.
The Medal of Honor is American's highest recognition of valor in combat as established by President Abraham Lincoln in 1861. The Medal of Honor commemorates those who were willing to risk their lives to protect and serve our country and the ideals we hold most dear.
The National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation is dedicated to sharing the stories and values of these incredible heroes—and to inspire America to build upon their legacies and the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, Texas will serve as the only national institution dedicated to the stories, impact, and legacy of the service members who went on to become Medal of Honor recipients.
The National Medal of Honor Museum is being constructed by Linbeck, broke ground on March 25, 2022 , and will open in Arlington in 2024.
Words simply don't do justice to the experiences, stories, and wisdom that Chris has and shared during his time on the podcast. You're going to really enjoy the conversation with Chris.

In this week's episode the guys sit down in the studio for a fantastically fun recording session with Chase Wood. Professionally, Chase is the CEO & partner at Kalterra Construction, a turn-key design/build general contractor specializing in the high-end multi-family, retail, and office markets across Texas. From Tyler, Texas to Zambia, and then back to Dallas, Chase talks with the guys about growing up in a family with a loving, open-door policy, building orphanages in Africa, his time-spent and lessons-learned while at Dynamic Glass working alongside Kevin, adopting a son and having his own, and the exciting time of his career where Kalterra's entrepreneurial vision is coming to fruition.
In addition to learning a few lessons around caring for others and building a great corporate culture, you're going to have a great time listening to this episode full of serious moments, gut-laughs, and great stories.

This week Kevin and Stewart return to the studio for an amazing conversation with Dale Payne, the chief executive officer of Prism Electric. Although Prism Electric is powerful electrical trade partner with offices all throughout Texas and into Oklahoma, the conversation rarely lingered there. Rather, the conversation wandered through Dale's life-giving experiences in the construction industry, his world-class adventures in Africa, and his battles with cancer ... now for the third time.
Friend. Consummate Professional. Story teller.
... Survivor.
You'll be engaged, intrigued, enthralled, interested, and encouraged from start-to-finish. Grab your notebook and get ready to learn something practical and impactful with and from our good friend, Dale Payne.

After a technical glitch last week, the 17Twenty crew persisted with the tech support team with the online recording studio. After a few days of clicking, searching, and looking, the support team located a low-fidelity backup of the files. So this week, we bring to you the missing episode!
In this episode, the crew tackles a few ideas -- life, wife, and Jesus -- around the Masters win of Scottie Scheffler. Hopefully you guys are encouraged by this quick hitter which gives some clarity around some of the most important things in life.

As many of you know, for months Kevin has been working on finding, acquiring, finishing, and moving in to new space for Dynamic Glass. The process of keeping all the balls in the air and getting this project over the finish line is not for the faint of heart, and consumed a significant amount of time over these last few months. Now that the move is complete, the 17Twenty team talks through the process, lessons learned, and ideas for you as you eventually work through this puzzle for your own company.

Dan Bradley joins the 17Twenty crew for an engaging in-studio interview where Dan tells his story from growing up in Colorado Springs as the son of two FBI agents, through his time at the United States Air Force Academy and his training-for and service-within the elite Tactical Air Control Party community within the Air Force Special Warfare unit, to his move to Dallas to join the construction industry, and the eventual telling of a 17Twenty story that's been in the making for over a year …
… culminating with the roll out of CATI Striping, LLC.
For 17Twenty this is a very special episode, with a very special guy, and the telling of a very special story that we're proud to be a small part of. We think you're going to enjoy everything this story stands for, top to bottom.

This week you hear from Grant Hagen, a guy who spends his 9-5 as a Strategic Product Consultant for DroneDeploy. But if you know Grant, you know that even though he was on the cutting edge of deploying drones on construction sites as a useful tool, he's so much more than the OG of drones. In this episode you hear Grant's story of learning to love the Lord, grow in his faith, and wrestle with things that needed his attention in various seasons of life.
Grant's story is wonderful, and wonderfully told by a genuine guy who truly loves people, loves the construction industry, and loves the Lord. No matter your life season, stage, or phase, you're gonna be blessed by this one, folks.
