Will there come a time when threatening to use, or the use of, violence, becomes considered outdated and primitive? If so, will such a change come from those in charge, the masses, new types of technologies, aliens or something else entirely? Parts of the meandering goes into Artificial Intelligence and even something called Roko's Basilisk, "the most terrifying thought experiment of all time".
