Fred Fanizzi is a man who has had experiences with nature that normal folk can only dream of. He has harvested 23 of the 29 big game animals in the North American Super Slam, which only 173 hunters dared to take on and actually completed. Although a lover of all things hunting, Fred takes a holistic and more spiritual approach to what hunting means to him. Besides his travels, Fred is also the General Manager at the Orvis endorsed wing shooting lodge, Quail Creek Plantation. His work at Quail Creek includes clay target tournaments, Quail and Pheasant hunting, Turkey hunting, and big game/exotic hunting.

Fred also has a love for aviation and flying in the high country of Montana. Fred has a wife, Maria, of 24 years and a son, Joe, who will be heading to college in Texas this year. He is extremely proud of them both.
