Vi retired from The Brick in 2013, having served as President and CEO prior to the Brick’s acquisition by Leon’s. Since then, she has served on several Boards, including The North West Company, Dare Foods, the National Board of Habitat for Humanity Canada and most recently, added Bailey Metal Products, Elswood Investment Corporation, and the Advisory Board of Longo Brothers Fruit Markets Inc.
Prior to The Brick, Vi was COO and Chief Customer Officer at Walmart Canada, and also spent 12 years with Loblaw Companies, serving in various capacities, including Executive Vice President with responsibility for the Atlantic Canada business. She started her career at Procter & Gamble, followed by roles with Frito-Lay Canada, Tandem International, and a new venture start-up for Provigo.
She has served on the National Board of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, and advisory board roles for Second Harvest in Toronto and Halton Healthcare Services.
Vi and her husband, Scott, have been married for 42 years, and have 2 grown children and 2 grandsons. In addition to her passion for family, she enjoys travelling with Scott and friends, and is an advocate for life-long learning, finding time to mentor, teach, and work on music and her golf swing.
