Welcome Back!!! This episode is FULL of juicy content. Even if you are not a parent, this is for anyone who works with children, works with parents, takes care of grandbabies, etc. Anyone who has influence in children's lives this is the episode for YOU! Food is fuel. Food is medicine. Food and help or it can hurt. Children are at such crucial developing stages from conception to age 5 (and of course beyond as well but not at such high speed). What we feed our children matters just like what we feed us as adults matter. We want to raise health conscious children who understand why certain foods are better than others for their bodies. Am I saying they can never have an oreo, pizza, chips, a soda? No. Those are in moderation and also require conversations to be had around them. 

We want our kids to have a good relationship with food and their bodies and not pick up on the habits formed over the years and passed down from one generation to the next. 

In this episode we chat a lot about ingredients to watch out for in your kids snacks, why mealtime is important, what you should consider buying for snack options, and how to have big conversations around the foods we eat in ways that our kids can easily understand.
