In this message we look at the root of lasting joy. Through Isaiah 61 verse 10, we discover that gratitude comes before joy; gratitude for what God has done and what God will do. We also see that awareness comes before gratitude; awareness of who God is and what God's plan for our lives is. By remembering what Jesus did for us on the cross, and flowing from our gratitude for him clothing us in salvation and righteousness, we can have a joy that transcends our circumstances; a true and lasting joy.
