In this message, looking at Peter who will go on to be one of Jesus' first disciples, we will see that in order to do God's will, we need to make adjustments in the way that we live our lives. It may be that we need to make that first-time decision to give our lives to Christ. If we are already Christians, our next step might be to follow Jesus more deeply, doing something differently to the way that we have done it before. Or maybe we're at a stage where we need to surrender all the areas of our life to Jesus, dying to self so we can live for him. In all of these stages of our walk with Jesus, adjustments are required. The adjustments may on the face of it seem costly, but what we gain is far more than what we seemingly give up.
In this message from Acts 9 Pastor Bill discuss how we can work out the challenges of God calling us into His great work and what happens when we do.
In this message we look at Paul's second missionary journey and see how God spoke to him and redirected him. God wants to have a transformational and intimate relationship with us and he does that by speaking to us. Our response should be is to listen to what God is telling us – by spending time in prayer and hearing from the Holy Spirit, to learn from Him – through our circumstances and through his word, and then to go out and live for him – by putting in to action what he tells us to do, and daily being conformed to Jesus.
You may be part of the answer to someone's pray as God invites you into His work. Check out today's message from Judges 6 to see if you have what it takes!
