Adopted at birth, Joshua began exhibiting troubling behaviors as early as age five.

Despite numerous doctors and diagnoses, nothing seemed to help, by the age of 14, his behavior had escalated to the point where he was sent to a boarding school that also served as a residential care facility. 

Was his eventual act of destroying his family a response to learning about his adoption? Or was it an inevitable outcome, simmering beneath the surface all along?
