《等你，在雨中》是现代诗人余光中写于1962年的一首爱情诗。此诗描写了一个少年在雨中等待一个美丽纯情的少女的焦急复杂的心态，感情真挚、热烈。全诗句式参差，语意顿挫，音韵柔婉，语言优美典雅，尤其是心理描写更加细致动人。

1962年夏，诗人突击写出《莲的联想》系列诗三十首，倡言“新古典主义”。《等你，在雨中》为系列诗之四，作于1962年5月27日，收入《莲的联想》，是余光中爱情诗的代表作，但诗歌的意义并不局限在纯爱情主题，而包括表现爱情的选择的途径，和从爱情中升华出来的一种皈依于中国传统精神的哲学思考。

作品注释

1.红莲：典出乐府诗《江南》，原诗为：“江南可采莲，莲叶何田田。鱼戏莲叶间，鱼戏莲叶东，鱼戏莲叶西，鱼戏莲叶南，鱼戏莲叶北。”

2.吴宫：原指吴国的宫庭，这里亦泛称江南，因江南可采莲。

3.桂桨：以桂木为桨，语出《楚辞》。

4.木兰舟：用木兰树所造的船。桂桨与兰舟俱言舟楫的华美典雅。

5.姜白石是谁？

姜夔(kuí) （1154-1221），字尧章，号白石道人，南宋文学家、音乐家。他少年孤贫，屡试不第，终生未仕。他对诗词、散文、书法、音乐，无不精善，是继苏轼之后又一难得的艺术全才。其作品素以空灵含蓄著称。

一池的红莲如红焰 在雨中

I feel not dispirited, cause each lotusstands for you, my dear flame,

at such a dusk, the rainy dusk. I’minstantly waiting for you,
