• Research: all the websites, look at reviews, watch YouTube videos, all the things
• Have a plan- you don't want to part with dollars and not think about where that money is coming from, and if I pay out that money am I not going to pay something else
• Have a savings plan behind the scenes, so when the time is right the money is there
• Don't wait until it's going to keep you from doing business
• Schedule some time on your calendar to learn
• Have a little backup plan

When thinking of making a big purchase make sure that you have a backup plan to switch over, make sure that you are able to carve out extra time to learn whatever the new thing is and celebrate. Congratulations Kerry for your new barista!
