India’s Chief Economic Adviser V Anantha Nageswaran said the US may rollback 25% tariffs on Indian goods and lower reciprocal duties soon, easing pressure on exporters.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi alleged mass voter deletions in Karnataka’s Aland seat, accusing the Election Commission of shielding “vote chors”. The EC dismissed the claims as baseless.

Separately, the Bombay High Court issued notices to the NIA and acquitted accused in the 2008 Malegaon blast case after victims’ families challenge the special court verdict.
