Most artists identify as introverts. Being an introvert can affect our business when it comes to marketing our work. It can also mean we become sucked into the void of our studio for days, accentually becoming a hermit. When it comes to social events such as art shows and NCECA, or even just simple social media interactions - being introverted can take a toll on the way we navigate through life as an artist. Lately I've been struggling to read the room to know when the right time is to let my extroverted-self come out to play.
