Simple Plan was really on to something when they wrote I'm Just a Kid almost 20 years ago. If we're being honest, we're 29 and our lives still feel like a nightmare most days. The guys take some time to discuss how they resonated with this song back in the day, how they perpetually feel like dumb, lost kids, the movie New Guy, long pinchy sunglasses, writing on a rock that made the neighbor/child therapist very concerned, and Pat introduced a new game, but at the time of writing these show notes, I sincerely forget what the game was.
