The American Curmudgeon, John Davies is back for a nostalgic trip down memory lane about how it was growing up in the 80's.

Our generation was left to run wild with barely any supervision. We didn’t need all these internet connected devices to keep us busy. We found or created things to do. We had real life skills because the technology didn’t do it all for us like today. Did technology dumb us all down to the point where we can’t do hard things anymore? The short answer is, YES. Even I find it so crazy that not so long ago if we had to find a party, given some vague address and a few clues, we would just FIND IT. Miraculous!!! Think about it, there’s literally NO TRACE of your mistakes, embarrassments, failures, or digital footprints from 40 years ago. You get off scot free, as opposed to today.
