Kristen thought she was talking to the dead. She eventually realized she was talking to something else.

When Kristen moved into an older home, strange things began almost immediately—doors slamming, unexplained voices, a child seeing something in the house, a mysterious phone ringing with no phone there, and an overwhelming feeling that she was constantly being watched.

But Kristen had always been fascinated by the paranormal. So when she discovered a way to communicate with what she believed were spirits in the house, she didn't run from it. She leaned in.

Until one phone call changed everything.

What follows is a remarkable story of deception, spiritual warfare, fear, faith and ultimately transformation. Kristen recounts her experiences with psychics, spirit boxes, an apparent entity claiming to be a deceased family member, a terrifying nighttime encounter, and the moment she began to understand her experiences through a completely different lens.

But the story doesn't end with the haunting.

It ends with Kristen turning toward Scripture, Jesus and the people who helped her confront what she believed was in her home—and finding a peace she says she had never experienced there before.
