Cassie Hammett is the Founder of The Hub: urban ministries in Shreveport, LA. The Hub was founded in 2007 and has three main ministries: The Lovewell Center, Purchased: Not for Sale and Rise Up & Roast a social enterprise that employs survivors of sex trafficking and individuals experiencing poverty. As Founder, Cassie sits on the Governor's Commission for Human Trafficking Prevention in Louisiana She also serves as a consultant for other cities who are launching models of The Hub and the work of The Lovewell Center and Purchased. These cities currently include: Las Vegas, NV, Ft Worth, TX, Lafayette, LA, Ruston, LA. She coaches and consults in leadership development, organization health, serving vulnerable populations and best practices for serving victims of sex tracking. She is most importantly the wife of Brent Hammett and mama to two internationally adopted daughters: Liv from the DRC, Africa and Esther from Guangzhou, China.
