Colton Hill is the Director of the Outreach Department for Core Medical Foundation. Colton joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 2008. He served in the Marine Corps infantry for 4 years as an 0311, before serving on the USMC Scout Sniper Platoon for two years. He joined the US Army Special Forces in 2014, serving with 20th Special Forces Group as an 18 Bravo (Weapons and Tactics Specialist). Colton spent 11+ years in Army Special Forces and is currently in the process of medical retirement.  Colton has been on deployments to Afghanistan, Europe, Eastern Europe, Africa, most Central Asian States, as well as to the Arabian Peninsula.

Cody Causey is the Director of Athletics at Word of God Academy and the host of the Coach Cody podcast. With a background in strength and conditioning, Cody has spent over a decade coaching, mentoring, and building programs that shape athletes on and off the field. Whether he’s developing championship teams, leading faith-based athletic training, or helping parents and coaches navigate youth sports, Cody is passionate about using sports as a tool to build character and purpose. His mission is simple: pick people up and take them where they want to go.

Derrek Amidon is the co-owner of Corks & Cuts and the man behind the scenes supporting his wife Candace's vision. A Shreveport, Louisiana native, Derrek left home at 20 for the Dallas-Fort Worth area before returning over 15 years ago to lay down roots once again. With an honorable discharge from the Air Force Reserves at Barksdale AFB and a deep background in competitive swimming, Derrek has served as a swim coach for over a decade, held the role of Age Group Chair for the state, and spoken on behalf of Swim America for USA Swimming. He’s also led as a State Zones Head Coach and brings the same discipline and passion into his CrossFit and wellness lifestyle. As he enters a new chapter, an empty nest and full focus on Corks & Cuts with Candace, Derrek reflects on lessons learned, the importance of progress, and what’s next.

Alex Anderson is the Sports Director and news anchor for KTBS 3 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Alex has spent the last 15 years highlighting local athletes and telling their stories through high school, college, and the pros. He is also the producer and host of the Southern Classic Chicken Friday Football Fever Scores and Highlights Show that is gearing up for another season.

SFC Ben Cotten and SFC Allen Smith are Sniper School Instructors in the Army National Guard and serve their community as Shreveport firefighters. As reigning champions of the 2023 International Sniper Competition, 2019 WPW Sniper Competition, and multiple other high-stakes marksmanship challenges, they travel the nation representing the All Guard Sniper Team—embodying precision, skill, teamwork and relentless dedication.

Tamara M. Crane, MA, CDP, is an experienced gerontologist and nonprofit executive with over 15 years of leadership in aging services, dementia care, and healthcare administration. She currently serves as Executive Director of the Bossier Council on Aging, where she oversees programs supporting seniors and caregivers. A Certified Dementia Practitioner and frequent speaker at professional conferences, Tamara is also active in statewide advocacy and community service through multiple boards and advisory councils. Her work has earned her numerous honors, including the 2024 Volunteer of the Year award from Visit SBC & Virginia Shehee most influential woman nominee.

Nate Edwards specializes in Health and Fitness Promotions for the Department of Defense. He has also set world records for weighted pull-ups and is a world champion Jiu Jitsu competitor.
