John Houlihan had a career in industrial design and worked at GM in their Advanced Studios Future Projects and later on the '71 Buick Riviera Boattail and the Chevy Vega. After his time with GM he worked at Smith Corona and General Electric designing products. He also worked at TIMEX in watch design.
