This was supposed to be August 2017’s episode, however between personal things and crazy work hours for James, it wasn’t recorded until September. Also due to crazy work issues, James hasn’t been able to edit it until now. There were some issues with Katie dropping and reconnecting to Mumble, but hopefully the post editing helped lessen the effects of that. So, without further ado, we finally present an episode to commemorate a Happy 7th Anniversary of Podcasting to us and and a Happy Halloween to you! This episode will be in both the normal feed and the AP feed. We hope you enjoy!

This show has been minimally edited to remove a few gaps of silence and fix continuity when Katie dropped and reconnected tothe recording here and there.

James decided that he wanted to run Mouse Guard again, so he invited a few friends. Paul and Steve are part of the normal podcast, while Matt and Andy are newcomers to the 1d4Cast scene.

**Note** – Mouse Guard is a front heavy system in terms of mechanical crunchiness. This games was a learning exercise and it not played 100% correctly according to the book.

The recording, after editing out long pauses, runs short of 2 hours.

This was recorded right before 1d4Con 2017. This is the Playtest of the Scenario James ran at the convention. He recruited David and Marian to play and Marian brought Derek along with her.

The recorded game itself has a running time of about 2 hours and 30 minutes after the long pauses had been removed. Then we discuss things that we noticed or questioned about the game for about 15 minutes afterwards.
