For the second episode of Round Trip, Sonido Tupinamba takes us to the heart and soul of México City. CDMX is one of the greatest megalópolis in the world where music flows in every corner. Over four weeks, different sounds of the city were registered, interviews were done and songs were picked by Tupinamba and her guests. Expect to find a spicy blend of Mexican music styles like cumbia sonidera, cumbia rebajada, géneros románticos, funk, soul, psych and also modern productions that are part of the musical DNA of the almighty Aztec City.

This show features the participation of local DJs, music researchers and curators that are key in the cultural life of CDMX: Carlos Icaza (Tropic Aza), Sonido Confirmación, Carlos René (Dedos Sucios), Ali Gua Gua, Afrodita and Lucia Anaya (Derré Tidá from Traición and Tortilla).
