We go right after a more controversial, contentious topic in the health and fitness space: health at every size. The fundamental flaw of this argument/movement is the conflation of someone's objective health and the content of their character. While anyone can improve their health and fitness by making positive lifestyle changes, there is a well-established, data-driven range of healthy weight and body fat. The literature clearly shows that outside of this range all-cause mortality increases. We discuss the social ramifications of this issue living in a time where the obesity rate in the united states is at its highest and rising.
