We’re back! The ladies of 2 Cups of Tea return with a special Mother’s Day episode. Trudie starts this episode sharing how planning a girls trip inspired them to invite their longtime sister friends Michele, and Stephanie who are also mothers, to join them in a candid conversation about motherhood. The ladies are excited as they dive into the first question - Did you want to be a mother? Listen to hear their responses that bring lots of laughter and a few surprises too.

Tisha begins by discussing how for the first time since elementary school, her girls are going to school together. Tisha shares her excitement of having a freshman and senior in high school. Trudie expresses much excitement for her son as he will start middle school and how this is a stepping stone for him as a young man. Trudie also discusses getting back into a routine and her back to school traditions.

Both ladies discuss what they are looking forward to this school year and the multiple changes that come with it.

The 2 Cups of Tea are back this week having a conversation about Gender Roles. It’s said that we’re all expected to act, speak, dress, and conduct ourselves based on our assigned sex. Listen as they both discuss growing up in a traditional gender role household and how some of the roles from their mothers have modeled into their lives. 

The ladies also discuss how gender roles occur in the workplace and they give examples which are similar to both of their surprise.
