2 GAME

Christian and Matt talk more Final Fantasy 16 this week as Christian gives his first impressions of the game and where it stands in the great pantheon of Final Fantasy games. Blizzard announced the first season of Diablo 4 so we recap what you can expect when it drops on July 20th. Chris joins Matt this week to talk about two games they have been devoting a lot of time lately: Legend of Zelda - Tears of the Kingdom & Final Fantasy 16. We discuss our favorite moments from Tears of the Kingdom as well as some of the mechanics and gameplay that might hold it back from being game of the year. We have played about 5-8 hours of Final Fantasy 16 so we dive into how this new entry in the franchise holds up against the others whether it's the story, gameplay or the score.

We also recap some of the biggest and most intriguing announcements from the latest Nintendo Direct!

Matt and Christian are here for a special edition episode of the 2 Game Podcast. We also look to the future with the upcoming rebirth of our podcast and content. The future is coming (shout out)!

We cover a bunch of topics this week! Matt recently watched Revenge of the Sith and he talks about why this might be the 2nd best Star Wars movie. Matt also saw Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in theaters. How does it stack up against the first movie? Demon Slayer recently started its dubbed releases of the Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc so naturally we talk about the first couple of episodes while also comparing it to the manga. Christian finally gives his thoughts on his play through of Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. And Matt poses the question: Is Xbox in trouble if Starfield fails? We try our best to answer that question. All of these topics and more on this week's episode!
