2 Middle Aged Geeks on Film

We're BACK!

🚨 MASSIVE SPOILER WARNING! 🚨 We are diving deep into full spoiler territory for this one, so if you haven't seen Scream 7 yet, save this video and come back after you've survived Ghostface!
Join the 2 Middle Aged Geeks on Film as we slice into the brand new, highly anticipated, and heavily debated slasher sequel, Scream 7! With Neve Campbell returning as Sidney Prescott and original franchise writer Kevin Williamson stepping into the director's chair, we had to see if this back-to-basics approach actually works.

Since the spoiler gloves are off, we are breaking down everything. We're talking Sidney’s new life protecting her daughter, the fate of legacy characters like Gale Weathers and Mark Kincaid, and—of course—our raw reaction to the Ghostface reveal(s) and their motive. Does the ending hold up to the classic 90s meta-magic, or does it trip over its own robe?

Like and comment below—what did you think of the killer reveal, and where does Scream 7 rank in your franchise tier list?

PJ and I close out PHASE 1 of the MCU.  And good news, we're getting back together shortly to resume operations!  BUT this older one first, it sees us revisiting Joss Whedon's milestone achievement bringing together all the Marvel Heroes and adding more.

The great Joe Johnston is one of our (especially PJ's) favorite directors. Making a pulpy, optimistic, and near perfect Captain America, we have fun talking this entry in the MCU #marvel #mcu #captainamerica #steverogers #chrisevans #joejohnston

PJ and PLD continue (in public now) the MCU rewatch.  Recorded about 6-7 months ago we watch the first time we delve into the realm of fantasy in the Marvel Universe.  Kenneth Branagh's Thor!

The public viewing of our MCU rewatch continues! Recorded about 6-7 months ago, PJ and I delved deep into the third film in the MCU and the second in the Iron Man series. With Doomsday around the corner (okay a long way around the corner), we had a blast going back to the beginning! We also have a few surprising determinations...

PLD & PJ go over The Incredible Hulk which was the forgotten stepchild until Brave New World came out! Recorded 7-8 months ago and made public now as we unveil Phase 1 during my hiatus!

Hey all!  See my recent community posting for the reason we've been so quiet recently.  While the quiet will continue through the rest of the year it made for a good excuse to start doling out the MCU Rewatch
**NOTE - THIS WAS RECORDED SIX MONTHS PRIOR!***
THE PATREON/MEMBER EXCLUSIVE MCU REWATCH BEGINS!
We kind of realized we probably should have had an intro episode first because we talk a lot about the MCU in general but we do get to have a blast talking about the first film in the MCU!

I'm back...kinda!  While I've been navigating some tricky times, I was able to at least get one of the podcasts back in line with thanks to PJ!  Thank you also to everyone else for offering their support and understanding!

Ghostbusters 2016 is a pretty...unloved movie.  We do a deep dive why and see if we can find any positives (Spoilers..we can...). WE also talk about how Disney has lost the plot and we get updates on Doctor Who and Star Wars and how Bob Iger is ruining his legacy.

PLD and PJ wax poetic on what may be the best of the bunch?  Josh Brolin leads the way in this fantastic film which is such an upgrade over 2!
