The Nigeria Medical Association has said a deep distrust of the Federal Government’s ability to implement its promises is behind the prolonged strike of resident doctors across the country.
NMA president Innocent Ujah, while appearing on channels television’s sunrise daily, said the federal government has, in the past, failed to implement agreements it signed with the resident doctors.
He further urged government officials to be truthful and honest in the implementation of promises.
