The very title “Rippin Hooks” is a play-on the fact that if either the red team or blue team has got their fishhook embedded in your mouth then the goal of the show is to rip it out and set you free! Partisan politics is a divisive and toxic system that operates through fear and anger to separate the masses and serve the interests of corporatists and war-hawks. Grab your pliers, let’s rip some hooks!
