I firmly believe that every business should be able to refuse service to anyone, for any reason. It is the responsibility of the citizenry to then refuse patronage at said business. It is NOT the responsibility of the government to force people who don’t like each other to interact with each other. Frankly, if someone would deny me service due to some prejudice, I would WANT to know so I can go somewhere else instead.

The biggest problem with social media is that every dummy’s opinions and perspectives are put on equal footing with intelligent and nuanced thinkers. One of the key issues that I’ve seen on my social media feeds recently is that “TRUMP’S SUPREME COURT PICK IS PLANNING TO PUT ALL THE GAYS IN GULAGS!!!”

The argument over #blacklivesmatter & #alllivesmatter is one of the dumbest aspects of modern politics and could be easily resolved if each side could just simply sit down and hear each other out.

The issues of police brutality and mass incarceration are far deeper than racism, and the reason it isn’t discussed in a more objective and reasonable way is because the truth would bring people together - and that would run counter to the interests of the prison industrial complex.

The war on drugs makes criminals out of everybody. Half of all people entangled in the justice system are there because of something drug related. The vast majority of negative interactions between police and civilians are drug related. There is a reason the mainstream media doesn’t discuss this narrative, and that’s because it would get people on the same page. When people are on the same page, they’re not as engaged. Fear and anger sell. Division is top-down, and unity is bottom-up.

Is there really no middle ground on the topic of abortion? Are the only choices really — 1.) No abortions whatsoever, even if it means a dead mother and a disfigured baby, or 2.) There is absolutely nothing morally questionable about aborting a full-term, viable child.

What do the democrat and republican parties have that the libertarian party lacks? Mass appeal. There are two types of people who are attracted to the libertarian party - 1.) hyper-intelligent & reasonable people who hold nuanced views & opinions and who see that the two-party system is deeply flawed, and 2.) fringe lunatics. This is all good and well, except for the fact that this excludes idiots. And most people are idiots. Conversely, idiots are exactly the target audience for both the right and the left. So, how can libertarians attract exponentially more people? Pander to the idiots.
