I firmly believe that every business should be able to refuse service to anyone, for any reason. It is the responsibility of the citizenry to then refuse patronage at said business. It is NOT the responsibility of the government to force people who don’t like each other to interact with each other. Frankly, if someone would deny me service due to some prejudice, I would WANT to know so I can go somewhere else instead.

Unlike other political shows, the goal of this one is not to sway you in any particular direction but rather to try to get you to think for yourself and draw your own conclusions. The very title “Rippin Hooks” is a play-on the fact that if either the red team or blue team has got their fishhook embedded in your mouth then the goal of the show is to rip it out and set you free! Partisan politics is a divisive and toxic system that operates through fear and anger to separate the masses and serve the interests of corporatists and war-hawks. Grab your pliers, let’s rip some hooks!
