It’s August 6th, 1989. It’s a warm Sunday evening in Aransas Pass, TX and 13-year-old Elisa Roberson went for a walk to visit her friend but hasn't returned. At 9:49 p.m., a call is placed to the Aransas Pass Police Department. On the other end of the phone is a young girl. Her voice is steady, but uncertain. She tells the dispatcher:"My sister hasn’t come home yet… and my mom wants a policeman to come over."
