Hey Peaches!
With all that has been going on in Palestine in the month of Ramadan leading up to Eid this past week, we felt it was necessary to invite Samiha Allan, a Palestinian Mexican born and raised in the US, to raise awareness and advocate for the Palestinian people. We discussed about how the Palestinian voices are being silenced; Clubhouse making it possible to communicate with Palestinians LIVE; and how what we can do to help.
Hope y'all find this episode to be eye opening, informative, and moving to do your own research about what's going on, specially from the mouths of the very people going through this.
We love y'all
Tiff & Mel

Hey Peaches!
A new month is here and you know what that means... That's right! Another episode of Peach-Flix! This month we decided to talk about the SyFy show, The Magicians. The show has 5 seasons and 65 episodes of action filled, character building, and very entertaining plots that kept the both of us glued to our screens and often at the edges of our seats. Tune in to find out what zodiacs each character represents and who is our least favorite out of all
We've picked out our next Indo-Club book for this month. Thank you to Avina from Enmuse for suggesting this book to us. In light of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we decided on: Dial A for Aunties by Jesse Q Sutanto, an Indonesian author. We're super excited about reading this

Hey there Peaches!
In this week's episode, we discussed our book of the month: The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan. Originally published in 1989, the novel focuses on four Chinese American immigrant families living in San Francisco. The four Chinese mothers started a club where they meet weekly to play mahjong and shared stories of what they left behind in China. United in loss and new hope for their daughters' futures, they call themselves the Joy Luck Club. Through a series of sixteen vignettes, Amy Tan perfectly portrayed the cultural conflict and often-rocky relationships between mothers and their first generation Chinese American daughters.
This week we attended our first MLB game at Truist Park between the Atlanta Braves and Arizona Diamonbacks (ATL won 5-4! GO BRAVES!) The park was at 50% capacity and we had an amazing time. Tune in to find out what new business venture Mel got cooking up and what new Pet did Tiff's dad bring home.
We hope y'all enjoy this episode as much as we enjoyed making it!
Love you all so MUCHO GRANDE!

Hey Peaches!
In celebration of Diversity Month and National Volunteer Month, this week we are bringing Yenny Darmadjaya and Sara Tunggala from Read 4 Unity to talk about the philanthropistic work they're doing to bridge unity with one diverse children's book at a time. After years of planning their idea, the two decided Summer 2020 was the perfect time to launch this project after the intense showcase of injustices in the BIPOC community.
With so much love and passion for bridging unity Yenny and Sara started this vision with diversifying The Little Free Libraries around town with books that represent and highlight BIPOC characters and authors.
Tune in to find out why the two women chose to focus on children's books in order to make their vision of unity come true. We hope y'all enjoy this episode as much as we enjoyed making it.
Love y'all so MUCHO GRANDE!

HEY PEACHES!
Wanderlust (n.)- a strong desire to travel
On this week’s episode, we are joined by one of our childhood friend, Jessica Ongko. A sole traveler, Jessica shares with us all about her adventures from her first one-way ticket to New Zealand, to hostel hopping for 2 months all over Europe, to having a near death experience while diving in Raja Ampat, Indonesia. She also has a website where she post pictures and blog about the different places she went to. We certainly enjoyed our time catching up and listening to her wanderlust stories.
This past Friday, we attended an NBA game at State Farm Arena, Atlanta Hawks vs Chicago Bulls (ATL won 120-108! GO HAWKS!). First live event post Covid and we enjoyed the experience.
Hope y'all enjoy this episode and end up planning a trip out of the country to explore what's out there by the time you're done listening
We love y'all SO MUCHO GRANDE!

Hey Peaches!
We celebrated Mel’s 35th birthday this past weekend. Started with a brunch at Beetlecat (which we highly recommend trying) and ended our night with drinks at Kona Grill. There was a #StopAsianHate March & Rally at the Capitol on March 20th for the mass murders of 8 people, 6 of them Asian women working at spas.
This episode, Mel took over the interview to talk with JK from Human Vibration about energy, simulation theory and a lot of other weird shit that we don't normally talk about in this podcast. Is this all an illusion? Is the color Purple a REAL color? What shape is Earth? Past life trauma? What is that? Tune in to this super interesting episode to find out why the sky is blue based on a 7 year old girl point of view.
We love y'all so GRANDE MUCHO!
