Sunday, August 25, 2024 – We continue our study of 2 Peter, focusing today on the theme of "God’s Righteous Judgment & Mercy.” Peter is careful to reveal God’s stance on sin, particularly the sin of being a false teacher or prophet, which has far-reaching consequences. God does not show favoritism toward any wrongdoer, be they angelic or human. We will also explore Lucifer's origin as the "guardian cherub" and how pride led to his downfall and the subsequent downfall of humanity.
