As the early church was forming, Peter encourages them to continue in the 1. Apostle’s doctrines – which means studying together and growing in like faith. 2. Fellowship – meaning building community and living life together beyond just Sunday mornings. 3. Breaking bread – referring not only to sharing daily meals but also to honoring the Lord’s Table of communion and remembering Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. 4. Yet, God’s Word is clear and filled with promises He will keep: even amid life’s storms, if we anchor ourselves deep in Him and trust His mighty protection, we will not be defeated. Although the enemy may trap us, God's faithfulness remains sure, and we can rely on our Heavenly Father to help us in every circumstance. Our responsibility is to build our lives on the solid foundation of Jesus, rather than on the unstable sand of worldly security. Join us for worship and study.

Sunday, February 22, 2026 – Pastor Justin is bringing a message titled “Stop Riding the Fence.” This is a very practical and challenging message for every believer today. Every person is susceptible to wandering and drifting if they aren’t mindful of how easily one can drop their spiritual guard and drift from what it means to live a holy life. From a practical perspective, nature will cause physical fences to weaken and even break down in places, allowing the animals protected by that fence to wander off and get into all kinds of dangerous situations. Likewise, the spiritual fences that guard our hearts can also weaken and break down in places we may not expect, and we, like a horse or a cow, can find ourselves in dangerous places because we didn’t mend the fences on a regular basis. Today’s message gives us good warnings and encourages us to stop riding the fence with one foot in the world and one foot in the church, and instead to mend the fence and plant both feet firmly in the church, seeking a holy and righteous life with Christ. If we understood that the fences God places around us are meant to protect us from a world bent on destroying us, we would live much better, more fulfilled lives. Worship and study with us.

We love experiencing the blessings of God — His peace, His provision, His presence. But are we positioning our hearts to receive all He wants to do in us? Fasting is not about earning God’s grace. Fasting is a response to that grace. It’s a way of quieting the noise of the world so we can hear God’s still, small voice more clearly. It’s choosing spiritual hunger over temporary comfort. The early church embraced fasting as part of their spiritual DNA — and through their obedience, God transformed communities and nations. As we enter the season of Lent, we invite you to prayerfully consider: What might God be asking you to lay down? What distraction could you fast from in order to seek Him more fully? Let’s believe together for a life-changing move of God in Charlevoix County — beginning at Center Point and reaching throughout our community. Join us as we worship, study, and commit to seeking the Lord with renewed focus.
