Sunday, February 15, 2026 – Pastor Justin’s message today is “Fasting: Discipleship DNA.” Fasting may not be everyone’s favorite topic. Why? Because it requires something from us. We love experiencing the blessings of God — His peace, His provision, His presence. But are we positioning our hearts to receive all He wants to do in us? Fasting is not about earning God’s grace. Fasting is a response to that grace. It’s a way of quieting the noise of the world so we can hear God’s still, small voice more clearly. It’s choosing spiritual hunger over temporary comfort. The early church embraced fasting as part of their spiritual DNA — and through their obedience, God transformed communities and nations. As we enter the season of Lent, we invite you to prayerfully consider: What might God be asking you to lay down? What distraction could you fast from in order to seek Him more fully? Let’s believe together for a life-changing move of God in Charlevoix County — beginning at Center Point and reaching throughout our community. Sunday, February 8, 2026 – Pastor Justin brings a message titled “Being Made for More.” This is the theme he believes the Lord is leading Center Point into this year. We’re going to build on the solid foundation of God’s Word and lean into becoming more like Christ—growing in His image, His purpose, and His work in us. Today’s message will be a springboard for the weeks ahead as we pursue steady, lifelong transformation together as the Body of Christ. Sunday, February 1, 2026 – Pastor Justin brings a message titled “Taking Rocks to a Knife Fight.” In it, he encourages us to embrace the power we have when we face spiritual battles in our lives. Too many Christians allow the enemy to dictate the nature of the fight rather than recognizing that the battle has already been won by Christ’s death and resurrection. In addition to the salvation delivered by Jesus’ sacrifice, we have the promise of the enduring power of the Holy Spirit, poured out on Pentecost. We’re going to face battle after battle, but we have the promise of victory as we stand on the promises of God’s Word. Just as David defeated Goliath, the enemy of Israel, with a Holy Spirit-empowered sling and stone, we have the same Holy Spirit power available to be overcomers against the enemy of our soul. Sunday, January 25, 2026 – Pastor Justin brings a message titled “Living in God’s Generosity.” We find that God’s intention is for each of us to live not a life of fear and scarcity, but a life built for more of God’s abundance in every area of our lives. Our success in life is not in gaining everything we can, but in sharing and being generous with others of everything that God has been generous to us with. Generosity is the key to success. This generosity is so much more than simple finances; it includes things much more valuable. Time, talents, encouraging words, and so much more are the currency of God’s generosity. The simplicity of God’s word is clear and true. Through Jesus and everything He has given us, we will never outgive God as we give back to Him and others. Worship and study along with us.

This is a special morning at Center Point Church as we welcome Michigan Ministry Network Superintendent Aaron Hlavin, who will bring a powerful message titled, “Three Parts to Pastoral Leadership.” He will share how every pastor serves in three distinct yet interconnected spheres—public, private, and personal—each one requiring the wisdom, strength, and grace that only God provides. Following the message, we will joyfully celebrate the official installation of Pastor Justin and Kari Brown, along with their three children, as our new pastoral family. Sunday, January 11, 2026 – Pastor Justin titles his message, “Even Though... God is Faithful.” You fill in the blank for yourself. Even though what? God is always faithful to Himself and to all who call Him Father. Even in the most difficult times in life, God remains faithful. Pastor Justin talks about the Good Shepherd in Psalm 23, who always cares for His sheep. Sheep aren’t known for being smart or for caring for themselves. They are stubborn and wander away if not carefully guarded. Yet the Shepherd loves and cares for those who know His voice and are part of His flock. No matter what your situation is today, if you call out to the Good Shepherd, Jesus, He will gather you to Himself and meet your needs according to His great and perfect will. Sunday, January 5, 2026 – Not only is it the first Sunday of 2026, but it’s also the first Sunday Pastor Justin and Kari Brown are at Center Point Assembly, along with their three children, Sophie, Malcom, and Simon. We are so pleased to have them serve as our new pastors. Join us as Pastor Justin shares an encouraging word titled “Built for more: Redeemed and Transformed.” In it, he reminds us of God’s purposes for our lives, no matter where we are in our spiritual journey. God’s plans are always bigger and better than we can imagine for ourselves. We just have to remember that we are saved by His Grace and then Redeemed and Transformed to be more like Christ. Sunday, December 21, 2025 — Join us as Pastor Ryp Hankins shares a special Christmas message titled “The Miracle of the Virgin Birth.” In this message, we are reminded of the deep joy, wonder, and comfort found in the truth that Jesus is Emmanuel—God with us. Scripture reveals Jesus as the second Adam, a truth rich with meaning. The first Adam was formed from the dust of the earth and brought death into the world; Jesus, the second Adam, came from heaven as the giver of life. This profound reality explains why the enemy trembles when a person surrenders to Christ—because in Jesus there is life, victory, and hope. Sunday, December 14, 2025 – Guest speaker Pastor Nate Boven delivered a timely message titled “Different Seasons Bring Different Roles.” As Center Point Assembly prepares to invite their new pastor in a few weeks, Pastor Nate encourages us all to look for the new roles we may be asked to play as Pastor Justin and his wife, Kari, take on their new positions. What makes the message so powerful is the added dynamic of maintaining the unity and peace that spiritual maturity provides. If a part of the body rebels and rejects the roles they are asked to fulfill, the whole body suffers—just as if one drops a heavy object on the big toe, the entire body feels the pain. Worship and study with us as we seek to understand and embrace the roles this new season may bring.

Sunday, November 30, 2025 – This weekend marked the first time Pastor Justin and Kari Brown attended CPA as candidates for the new pastor position. Kari shared a part of her testimony, and together they performed a special song. Pastor Justin delivered a timely message addressing the challenges of a new season. Life consists of seasons, and transitioning from one season to another often involves carrying wounds and various types of bondage. Pastor Justin emphasized breaking the chains of old bondages as one moves into a new season. Let’s worship and study together as we learn how to transition into the new season of Center Point Assembly.
