To converse with a person, one must be near that person. It’s the same with God; if a person is going to hear the voice of God, we must be in His presence and desire to hear His voice. We hear Him speak comforting and encouraging words. He speaks in multiple ways, and He always brings wisdom and vital information to make our lives more effective in His Kingdom.
