Sunday, August 18, 2024—Today, we start the second chapter of 2 Peter, titled “Warnings of False Teachers.” Peter warns that there were false prophets and teachers in his time and that there will also be in our time. People need to know this because false teachings often start with an element of truth but then twist it into something false. This can be extremely dangerous because the deviation from truth may be very subtle. As a result, as per scripture, many people will lose their love and end up on a destructive path. Join us in worship and study to focus on God’s truth and protect ourselves from the enemy's snares.
