  • 2 Point Conversation: What the Buc?
Passing the time in quarantine can be challenging, but not as much when we have the NFL still ticking away. The NFL still in the headlines. Monday was exciting and Tuesday was just as exciting setting up a somewhat busy day for the first day in the next calender year for the NFL. More signings, we find out where Phillip Rivers will call home for 2020. Drew Brees will remain in the Big Easy, and will be able to welcome in a new foe to his Division in the NFC South. TB12 has made his decision and he will join Brees in the NFC South as a member of the Tampa Bay Bucs. Is Tom Brady done? He is definitely in the right spot to prove everyone wrong, myself included. With the arsenal he has at his disposal, Tom Brady is looking like a top fantasy QB on paper going into 2020. This first week of quarantine isn't so bad after all. That is, until we run out of toilet paper.

  • 2 Point Conversation: Somewhat back to normal
We have sports action again. Not reall action, but sports news outside of players and leagues getting shut down due to coronavirus. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty tired about the negative vibes of corona. Now we have something else to talk about, because the NFL is resuming with a business as usual style and I couldn't be more grateful. The days leading up to the new calender year of the NFL, which is March 18 and on schedule to begin, is always an exciting time. PLayers picking new homes and trades that blow everyone out of the water and catch us by suprise. We had a lot of that already and its just getting started. Lets pull away and dive into it together.

  • 2 Point Conversation- Rumor Has It
Remember back in high school, where people would spread rumors about other people or twist the truth about things? Well those people are doing big things now because that all we have in the off season. Rumors about anything and everything. Some of them are just ridiculous. Stafford miserable in Detroit, I could see it, but it turned out to be false because his wife said "We aint, go-ing nowhere.... cuz its Bad Boys for life" Seriously, she said it, sort of. Tom Brady to the 49ers? Do I look like I was born yesterday? Rumors are dangerous because it can cause people to panic, so lets panic together. If Tom Brady is going to the 49ers, then I can run a 40 time faster than Isaiah Simmons. Pretty much, not a chance in hell. But watching the combine, those athletes are impressive. They are so fast, they make fast people look, not fast. That is my expert analysis. All that and more on this episode of 2 Point Conversation. Enjoy!

  • Shoot The Gap - 50 Years of Waiting is Finally Over
Welcome back to the final podcast of the 2019 season, as we have crowned the new Superbowl Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. Well deserved by the Chiefs and Andy Reid and Superbowl MVP Patrick Mahomes, who have brought KC their first Superbowl since Superbowl 4, which was 50 years ago. Having to come back in dramatic fashion, because Mahomes likes the drama. Down 10 points at the start of the 4th quarter, the Chiefs would go on to score 21 unanswered points and beat the 49ers 31-20, to win Superbowl 54. But the game wasn't the only thing, we had the commercials and the Halftime show that had everyone talking. Finally, I feel a little guilty and responsible for the loss, I'll explain in this episode. Enjoy, and thanks for listening all season long and what a great way to finish off 100 years. Here is to the next 100!

  • Superbowl LIV Preview
Welcome back to Shoot the Gap: A Football Podcast. It is Superbowl Week and we are painting Miami red. As the San Francisco 49ers, in search for their 6th Superbowl ring, take on the Kansas City Chiefs who are back to the Superbowl for the first time since Superbowl IV, fifty years ago. Patrick Mahomes leads the charge with a high scoring offense of the Kansas City Chiefs. They have no shortage of weapons with Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill and company, but standing in their way is a young and hungry 49ers defense with a front four that gives opposing QBs nightmares, and a secondary led by Richard Sherman, who are second to none and are ready for the challenge. On the other side we have Jimmy Garoppolo, who is trying to prove he belongs. To support him he has the people's tight end in George Kittle, and a three headed monster of a running game featuring Raheem Mostert, Tevin Coleman and Matt Brieda. After coming off of a huge game where they silenced King Henry, the Chief's defense has other plans for the 49ers. Me and Co-Host Ant Julz take a look at the match up and give our predictions. 49ers vs. Chiefs, in what appears to be a Superbowl to remember. Enjoy!
