  • 2 Point Conversation: Quarterbacks of 2005
Its draft day in 2005, and the same two names being talked about then, are being talked about now. Alex Smith, the first overall pick and Aaron Rodgers the twenty-fourth overall pick. These two will forever be linked together. The career paths for both players were polar opposites. One went on to be on the games best, and the other always seems to be the underdog, even in his new chapter of his life. Alex Smith new documentary was released "Project 11" and it gives insight to Alex Smith's horrific injury back in 2018. The strength and determination of Alex Smith, is inspiring, and matched by no one. Rodgers, not injuried physically, but maybe mentally. After the Packers drafted a potential replacement just one week ago in the NFL draft, is the relationship between him and the organization damaged? Or a big overreaction? Brett Favre thinks its the former, because he lived it and was in Rodgers position, when just 15 years ago, Rodgers was draft to replace Favre, same as Jordan Love was to replace Rodgers. Talk about irony.

  • 2 Point Conversation: Post Draft Reaction
Now that the draft came and went, you may think the fun is over. Well, for Special Guest Ant Julz and I, the fun is just getting starting on this podcast. We dive into the NFL draft and give our reactions to teams and players landing where they did. We have the big time draft winners, and the losers, who still have us scratching our heads and thinking "WHY?". Thank you to the NFL for still having the NFL draft and giving all of us a taste of football and live sports. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we all cant wait for the season to start.

  • 2 Point Conversation: Day 3 is Name Game Time
Day two of the NFL draft has concluded, and a lot of talented players who may be future starts were selected. Day two and three of the NFL draft is what makes or breaks a franchise, because in those picks is where the real value is. Some picks left us scratching our heads, or if you are a Eagles fan, throwing yourself out of a two-story window. The draft makes for a lot of funny memories, and this virtual draft in 2020 is no different. As Day two came and went, we still have one more day of the draft. Day three, but at this point many of you may not know who these guys are. I'll highlight a few but the real fun on day three of the NFL draft, is playing the name game. Who has the best names who remain in the NFL draft and will your team draft one. Believe me there are plenty to go around.

  • 2 Point Conversation: Day Two Preview
The NFL Draft is in full swing. We had some picks go according to plan, and others took a detour. Regardless, its save to say, each team got who they wanted at their pick. Not a lot of trades going on for Day one, but that can all change in Day two. This is make or break time for a lot of franchises during draft time. Gems of the draft can be found her like in years past. You don't believe me? Just wait until you here this list of superstars and hall of famers drafted on Day two. Are there any among the class of 2020? Of course there are. The only thing to do now, is to figure out who they are.

  • 2 Point Conversation: 2020 Draft Party
Can you feel the buzz in the air? Its that time again, the Superbowl of the NFL Off-season, the NFL Draft. This day would not be defeated by recent events, but due to those events we will have the first ever Online remote draft. But that shouldn't take away the special night we are in store for. The NFL Draft is where dreams are turned into reality over night. Where legends are born are introduced to their new families, the NFL family. It is a night we can all be together in a time where we are all separate. I couldn't be more excited for the draft. We will get to see the inside of some GM's homes. Make prop bets on who is wearing pants, boxers or going camando. My bet is Andy Reid is going all natural. He has earned that much. Talking about earning something, are you superstitious, or just a little stitious. Lamar Jackson has earned the curse of the NFL, by being placed on the cover of Madden. Or did Patrick Mahomes defeat that in 2019? Time will tell for Lamar. Not too long ago Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes were the talk of the Draft, now guys like Joe Burrow, Tua Tagovailoa, Jeff Okudha, Isaiah Simmons and others are on stage. But this draft has the deepest set of talent we have seen in years, specifically at the Wide Receiver position, such as, CeeDee Lamb and Bama's two headed weapons of Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs III lead the way. We talk all the players to watch on Day One of the NFL draft, and what teams may do, when they are on the clock.

  • 2 Point Conversation with Special Guest Larry Krueger
Even though the world may feel like it has stopped, the NFL has a "show must go on" mentality. Many can appreciate this from NFL, because it still provides a form of normalcy in this world that has changed so much in the last few months. Like the NFL, the podcast must go on and helping on out on this podcast, I have a special guest, Show host on KNBR 104.5 and 680, Larry Krueger. With the draft rapidly approaching, but not fast enough for some, Larry gives some insight on the potential players who may be on the 49ers draft board. With the 49ers find a game changing Wide receiver with that 13th overall pick, acquired from the Colts for DeForest Buckner. Or with the 49ers look to fill that vacancy immediately, if so, who fits in with the 49ers defensive line. With many needs, the 49ers can go a multitude of different ways, only time will tell, but Larry believes it to be one player in the draft, that is a must have at 13. Find out who on this episode. Enjoy!

  • 2 Point Conversation with Special Guest Baby Huey
This past weekend was the Superbowl of the Wrestling world, Wrestlemania 36, and who better to talk to about it with than Special Guest, Baby Huey. We take a brief look at Wrestlemania 36 and how it felt for both of us. Me a casual fan and Baby Huey a fanatic of the sport. Why wrestling you ask? Well, wrestling and football, especially this weekend, collide with one another, and more often and in more ways than you think. Former Patriot Tight End and favorite target of Former Patriot Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, got in on some Wrestlemania once again. Not to mention our very own Tight End of the San Francisco 49ers, George Kittle is a huge wrestling fan, maybe even bigger fan than Baby Huey. We got wrestling, we got football, and most of all, we have a fun podcast in store for you all. And thats the bottom line, because WE SAY SO!
