Suppose your greatest enemy was killed. How do you think you'd respond upon hearing the news? I think many in that situation would rejoice, and maybe even do something to celebrate. As you may recall from our study of First Samuel, Saul had been hunting David for close to ten years, and now that King Saul has been killed, you might think David would be thrilled. Well, God doesn't rejoice in the death of the wicked, and neither did David. Today on Hope From the Word we enter Second Samuel. In the coming weeks we'll travel through each chapter with you. Here's Pastor Bill Luebkemann to introduce the study for us.
