The other day, I was scrolling through Facebook and one of my friends asked people to comment on which two character attributes they’d wish for their children. The first was easy for me — kindness. First and foremost, I want my children to be kind. But what else? Humor? Intelligence? Drive? Of course, I want my four daughters to be funny, smart, motivated, and a host of other things, but right after kind, I want my girls to be brave.
