Paul experienced so much suffering in His life. He was arrested, rejected, mocked, beaten all because He was proclaiming God’s good news. And all of this pain and torment could’ve served to make him bitter and frustrated with God. Instead, as Pastor Terry teaches today, Paul saw these afflictions as worth it in order to share the gospel. He rejoiced in the ways he suffered. You, too, may experience suffering for the sake of the gospel. Paul wants you to know your pain has a purpose – to proclaim and glorify God.
