Michael Batko is the CEO of Startmate, Australia's most ambitious accelerator. Michael started as a business student following the traditional path into consulting and corporate life (Amex, PwC, KPMG) … but then fell in love with the startup world growing two start-ups from a team of 2 to 50+, including a $ 13M Series B capital raise. Then he joined Startmate, Australia's most ambitious accelerator, as Head of Operations, and ended up taking over as CEO. On top of this, Michael is the founder of Puddle Pod, a 5 week virtual productivity huddle which brings together incredible founders who are obsessed with improving their businesses and lives. And my personal favourite, Michael runs a book club that I attended and it actually introduced me to Fantasy books which I now love.
Michael is an absolute expert at building 0 to 1 and building up founders.
