Alec Hurley is a yoga health coach, yoga and meditation teacher, professionally trained chef and life-long surfer. He founded Higher Self Wellness as a way to teach group classes and programs incorporating all of these valuable tools, teaching students how to live a life in tune with nature and connected to spirit. Alec teaches with a holistic understanding of Ayurveda, yoga, nutrition, and self-care strategies to help students connect to their truth. His yoga classes focus on awareness, bodily sensation, and self-expression through movement and breath. Outside of the yoga studio, Alec enjoys coffee, long walks on the beach, and the simple pleasure of being human.
