#20 - Lessons From My Lowest Income Year In Business
Let’s get real with fluctuating income! Last year for me was my lowest income year, and I want to share some of the lessons this has taught me.
The fact of the matter is that, as a business owner, our income will fluctuate and change. We can put all the mechanisms in place to have income security, but ultimately when you are in business there is always that element of risk, and we need to have good habits in place to manage our income, cash flow and client pipeline.
What I learnt from reviewing this last year's income figures, is that there was a mix of personal, professional and industry life cycle reasons as to WHY this happened.
Which allowed me to reflect and learn, and then re-strategise moving forward.
