It was one of the most riveting days of my life when I was sitting at home in 2014 watching CBS News and the images came of Eric garner being choked to death by NYPD we had no near no idea that there that would be a cascading affect of killing after killing of young black unarmed men by police in America

With Charlotte NC on a record pace to have 154 recorded murders on the roll according to Charlotte Mecklenburg police, people are doing their part all over the city. There are many organizations that are working very hard to curb the violence all over the city. So what di Adrian Sundiata mean when he stated, these Charlotte murders is our fault. I agree with him. I feel all black men in this city should feel responsible for our youth killing each other. We should take it very personal.

In this episode he tells a story of how an older man stepped in to disciple young brother and changed his life, because he was not afraid.

Prosecutors have a new tool to help reduce the number of people dying in North Carolina from opioid overdoses, WTVD reports.

On Monday, Governor Roy Cooper signed into law the “death by distribution” act.

It allows prosecutors to charge drug dealers with second-degree murder.

Lawmakers and law enforcement say it is needed to put away high-level drug dealers.
