A police officer outside Houston fatally shot a woman during a scuffle over a Taser at an apartment complex late Monday, authorities said. The incident was captured on social media and circulated overnight, CBS Houston affiliate KHOU-TV reported. In the video, the woman can be heard shouting "I'm pregnant" multiple times before she is shot.

Baytown Police Lt. Steve Dorris on Tuesday afternoon identified the woman as Pamela Turner and said his department has confirmed Turner was not pregnant. However I thhink we should do our own investigation on that fact. He didn't immediately respond to questions from CBS News over whether the determination was made through an autopsy. However, family members told KHOU that Turner was not pregnant. Turner's niece told the station the woman had mental health issues and had had prior run-ins with Baytown police.

Dorris earlier said an officer on patrol saw the 45-year-old Turner, whom the officer had encountered before. He knew the woman had outstanding warrants, so he approached her to arrest her.

 This morning we have more audio from our live broadcast from uptown Charlotte doing the Charlotte shout festival which was held this past weekend as we produced our show in front of a live studio audience this morning we are playing a portion of the program and which we talked about a white waitress being discriminated against in Charlotte. A black patron did not want a white waitressed serving him so he asked for a black one and we discussed it and the question is do you have  to prefer a certain server at a restaurant?

 The 20 minute morning show did our first live broadcast at the Charlotte shout the festival this past Saturday, May 11 at the Marriott hotel and a nice beautiful coffee shop called Coco and the Director at the corner of trade and Tryon… Shawn was not there  but Sundi AK and Monifa Drayton guest starred on the show..We were invited by the Queencitypodcastnetwork.com to be on stage from 10 AM until 1130 ...One of the topics we discussed were Ayesha Curry  The wife of Golden State warrior Stephen Curry about her wanting attention from men to make herself feel like she was still attractive.

Affluent Blacks in Charlotte are sometimes invited to put there child in a program called Jack and Jill of America, Inc. It is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2-19, dedicated to nurturing future African-American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving and civic duty. Spencer Ferguson grew up in the program and talks about his experience.

Two people were killed and four others wounded in a shooting Tuesday at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, authorities said.  We got a chance to go on campus last night and speak with some of the students and get their account of what transpired during those three harrowing hours before the police gave the all clear on campus. Police identified the suspect later in the day as Trystan Andrew Terrell, 22. They said he was being charged with two counts of murder and four of attempted murder, among other crimes.

Pop singer Rhianna is being asked to dress very modestly by her Muslim boyfriend. In the Muslim world women are asked to dress modestly but can Rhianna tone down her sex appeal and keep her record sales going. We had an interesting conversation about her dilemna. 

 The latest police shooting in Charlotte has become a national conversation about the use of force and how police officers use their body cam videos. Also there are questions surrounding the release of body cam videos and what can be edited and taken out for public consumption. The people of Charlotte North Carolina saw the full 11 minutes and were   Shocked to see the display of callousness of the Charlotte Mecklenburg police Department especially after they had shot Donquarius Franklin and did not administer any first aid..... it was unbelievable to watch this take place. Also even after seeing the full video one of our cast members still believes that the police were justified in shooting this young man .
