3 Things to consider for your new year goals:

  • If your goal is better muscle definition make sure you are really comfortable with the exercise first before adding heavier weights. Even adding just two more pounds can make a big difference. It's better to work on this slowly and thoroughly instead of setting yourself back with an injury.
  • If your goal is to mend a relationship, then keep working at it. Often when you are going through a rough patch with someone, it might be because of something you are going through. Take a step back and examine what might be going on with you first. Dig deep into those feelings and see where they might be affecting other parts of your life. Learning to recognize and control our emotions is a skill we need to continually work at.
  • Remember to practice good health habits. Drink more water, go for a 20 minute walk each day, get more sleep. You can do these things without spending any money and they will ultimately make you better.
