The Fisherman
垂钓者的故事
一个晴朗的下午, 杨先生开着车去钓鱼。
On a sunny afternoon, Mr. Yang drove his car to go fishing.
他把车停在了湖边。
He parked his car by the lake.
在他准备钓鱼的时候,一个摄影师和一个记者走到了他的身边。
As he was preparing to fish, a photographer and a journalist walked up to him.
记者问他,
The journalist asked him,
“对不起,
先生。打扰您一下。”
”Excuse me, sir. Can we disturb you for a second?“
我们是电视台的。想采访您一下,
行吗?”
“We are from a television station. Can we do an interview with you
for TV?”
“嗯。”
"Sure".
“您贵姓啊?”
"What's your last
name?"
“姓杨。”
“My last name is Yang.”
"噢, 杨先生, 您看着镜头。"
"Aright, Mr. Yang. Please look at the camera."
”嗯“。
”okay.“
“杨先生, 我们想问您, 如果您有一百万, 您愿意捐给那些需要帮助的人吗?
”Mr. Yang. We'd like to ask you a question. If you had one million
yuan, would you be willing to donate it to people in need?"
杨先生低头想了一会儿, 然后抬头看着记者说,“都捐了啊?”
Mr. Yang lowered his head and thought for a moment, then looked up
at the journalist and said,
"Donate all of it?“
“您看着镜头。”
“Please face the camera. "
“诶诶。”
"Eh eh, alright."
“对, 都捐了。”
”Yes, all of it.“
“愿意。”
” Sure. “
“您有一千万呢?”
"What if you had 10
million?"
"愿意。“
“Of course."
“您有一个亿呢?”
“Even 100 million?"
“十个亿都行。”
"Even a billion is no problem, if I had it."
“那您如果有一辆汽车, 您愿意捐给别人吗?”
"Let's say you had a car, would you be willing to donate it?
杨先生看了一眼他的车, 然后对着记者摆了摆手表示不愿意。
Mr. Yang glanced at his car and then shook his hand to the
journalist showing his unwillingness .
“为什么呀?”
"Why not?"
“别的都行, 就是汽车不行。”
“Anything but the car."
"您有十个亿您都愿意捐。为什么车就不行了?”
“You'd donate one billion yuan. Why not the car?"
“因为我真有一辆汽车。”
“Because I actually have a car."
