Introduction:
When I first heard this story from my best friend, I suddenly realized how much a person’s childhood can shape the way they think as an adult.
Over the years, I’ve met many people who struggle to think independently. And strangely, I’ve noticed that many of their parents used to say and do the same kinds of things— the kind that quietly discourage kids from speaking up or having their own thoughts.
That’s why I made this video.
I’m not saying I’m right. I just want to open a quiet space where we can think about this together.

前不久我闺蜜跟我说

她十三岁的女儿

最近迷上了烘焙
zuì jìn mí shàng le hōng bèi
常常自己在家做些小饼干啊
cháng cháng zì jǐ zài jiā zuò xiē xiǎo bǐng gān a
菠萝面包、香蕉蛋糕
bō luó miàn bāo, xiāng jiāo dàn gāo
还有纸杯蛋糕之类的
hái yǒu zhǐ bēi dàn gāo zhī lèi de
但是每次做完
dàn shì měi cì zuò wán
厨房都收拾得不太干净
chú fáng dōu shōu shi de bú tài gān jìng
不是桌子上留点面粉
bú shì zhuō zi shàng liú diǎn miàn fěn
就是水槽子里
jiù shì shuǐ cáo zi lǐ
还落个勺
hái là gè sháo
或碗什么的
huò wǎn shén me de
所以每次她都要再清理一遍
suǒ yǐ měi cì tā dōu yào zài qīng lǐ yí biàn
有一天
yǒu yì tiān
她女儿刚做完饼干
tā nǚ'ér gāng zuò wán bǐng gān
她又开始替她女儿打扫“战场”
tā yòu kāi shǐ tì tā nǚ'ér dǎ sǎo "zhànchǎng"
那天她就越收拾越来气
nà tiān tā jiù yuè shōu shi yuè lái qì
然后就对她女儿说
rán hòu jiù duì tā nǚ'ér shuō
“你要是不能好好收拾
nǐ yào shì bù néng hǎo hǎo shōu shi
那以后这厨房的东西
nà yǐ hòu zhè chú fáng de dōng xi
你就别碰！”
