Welcome to Tales From 2000. This is a special intro because the session this episode came from was a very special circumstance. For all extensive purposes THIS is Episode 1 of Tales From 2000, but if you've been watching for the last few weeks you might be confused because there have already been a handful of episodes. In fact THIS episode comes in at the midpoint of a session. Well, thing is, what happened in the first half of this session forever changed everything leading to shall we say a "Fresh New Start". Combining this with the fact that due to some technical glitches a few of the earlier adventures are literally gone forever as well as us refining the show over these first few months we felt this was a good time to start season 1 proper.

Don't worry the old episodes are still around (those that survived anyways) and can be found in the Before Time Timeline playlist… if you can uncover it. Does this potentially make things a bit confusing? Most definitely, but not nearly as confusing as it is for our heroes.

Welcome to The GM Table's newest podcast Tales From 2000. This is an actual play podcast using the Year Zero Engine, specifically the version used in the RPGs Tales From the Loop and its sequel Things From the Flood. We aren't playing IN those worlds however. Instead our game follows a group of teenagers in a small New Jersey Suburb in the year 2000. The best way to describe our world is if Goosebumps were more adult, mixed with Lovecraftian horror minus the actual Lovecraft, all in an old WB teen drama from the late 90s or early 2000s.

Our game is actually live every Tuesday at 9pm Eastern on twitch.tv/gmtable where we record what will become two episodes of the podcast and include audience participation. We're hoping to release two new one hour-ish episodes each week, but delays will happen if we need it to make sure the quality is something we're ok with putting out.
